How can you mount a Shure 520DX “Green Bullet” microphone?

I recently purchased a Shure 520DX “Green Bullet” microphone. Where you would usually attach the microphone to a mic stand, there is a volume control (The threading to screw onto a stand is still there, but the volume knob is set inside the hole). How can I mount this microphone to a stand?

Kaleb – Sorry to say but that mic is not meant to go on a stand – it is meant to be held in the hands cupped in front of a harmonica.

I have used these before and that is how harmonica players use them.
