Polarizing Filter Lens
How do you correctly clean a polarized lens filter?
I purchased a nice polarized filter for my camera. Over time it has gathered all sorts of smudges from fingers. I took a soft tissue and gently wiped it, but all it seemed to do was smear the fingerprints even more. What is a good way to clean my filter without harming it??

Use a very clean, soft, lint-free cloth or paper. Gently breathe on the filter to fog it with your breath, then wipe it clean. It’s also a good way to clean eyeglasses.
If there are greasy smudges from fingers, you might need to use some cleaning fluid, available at camera stores. Put a couple drops on your cleaning cloth or tissue.
