Fish eye lens/adapter help with D40…?

I know its a cheap POS lens for my camera.. I just want test this to see if I would like to buy a nice one… Im new to the nicer camera world. Anyways I bought this BOWER super wide 0.42x AF Lens off ebay… It said it would work with the D40 and it came with 2 adapter rings 67-62 and another that says 58-serie S7. but they wont fit on my lens that came on my camera.. the standard 18-55mm. Any clue what ring would make it fit?

Also what one would work I will just buy another…. But I cant afford one thats uber spendy

look at the front of your lens it should have a number with a circle with a slash through it… that is the filter ring size

you can always place the filter in front of your lens and see how it works…

then check around for the correct adapter so you can use the fisheye
