Fisheye Lens Sony

What is the best fisheye lens to get for my Sony A230 55mm Camera?

I really want a fisheye lens for my camera but with so many options i dont know which is the best, i dont want to spend to much but i dont want to go for the cheapest and end up with crappy pictures. I would like the sony fisheye for £599 but thats way too over my price range i would go asfar as £150 for one.

I guess it is a good thing you cannot afford the SAL-16F28 fish-eye lens. It only covers 180 degrees when using the Sony full frame DSLR’s which your camera is not.

What fisheye lens for under £150 did you find that covers a full 180 degrees when used on a Sony APS-C sensored camera?

I know of none, but as time goes on, more and more generic lenses are being released, so at prices almost to hard to believe.

There is a 10-17 mm fisheye zoom that is made by Tokina, but only for Nikon and Canon cameras … at this time (Tokina makes Pentax, so has a Pentax branded 10-17 mm lens that can be used by Pentax cameras)

You may be stuck with using Yahoo Search and see what prime fisheye lenses are available for your camera

I found one fisheye lens made by Sigma that will provide a tull 180 degree view on your alpha 230, but is costs even more than the Sony fisheye you mentioned.

Here is a link to one full frame fisheye that should work on your camera, but who knows what the quality will be, surely better than any add-on lens that claims to be fisheye but are NOT
